Permobil Wheelchair Can Anyone Recommend A Good Seat Cushion For A Wheelchair?

Can anyone recommend a good seat cushion for a wheelchair? - permobil wheelchair

I had a wheelchair with the seat Permobil C500 Corpus in the last two years. For several months, I've always pain in the coccyx. I recommend to people, or Jay Roho mattress or pillow. Both are expensive and to my surprise, the two companies provide about 20 pillows. I want to hear some of the end user.

C2-C3-I use a ROHO high-level quadriplegic, my president is a Invacare TDX5. I tried the mattress Jay, but he had a problem skin a little, but since the changeover to the ROHO, I've had no problems. Hope this helps.

What is your concern? Broken Skin, comfort, positioning?

Rohos for the integrity of the skin are excellent, if properly inflated and use the right cover. On the other hand, are constant for the positioning as the 'move' them badly. The low profile is more stable, but less comfortable.

If you are looking for a low cost base low-pressure mattress comfort, think of a gel / foam combo. I love www.ocelco.com bases.

Have you checked to see your doctor or supplier of the chair to determine whether a Roho or J2 are not covered?
